2月24日上午，由院长何向东，副院长邓朝喜、陈金玉、周宏光、何光勇等院领导任组长的5个检查小组，分别到各二级学院（部）实地检查了新学期开学准备情况，并在行政中心一会议室召开了汇报会议。
会上，各检查小组负责人就各院（部）开课前的准备工作进展、师生返校、教师的课程安排、教室、教材的准备等情况作了汇报，并就存在的问题提出了建议。从汇报情况来看，各院（部）对新学期的开学工作都做了充分准备，教师的课程安排、教材的发放等工作进行了落实，可以保证新学期正常开课。
何向东对相关工作作了总结。他要求，后勤、资产等有关部门要做好相关教育教学设施设备的维修工作，各职能部门之间要做好沟通，解决教室安排等问题，确保新学期教学工作的顺利开展。
