3月21日上午，在万州区招生办主任谭忠的带领下，一行15人来我院作了交流。
学院院长何向东，副院长何光勇等在会议中心接待了来宾。何向东介绍了学院自创办以来的基本情况以及今后的发展战略。他说，我院以科学发展为基本战略，秉承立陶树人的理念，着重培养应用型人才，促进学生的综合素质的提升。今后，我院还将投入更多的资金去建设完善设施设备，致力于创办高层次的应用科技大学。
谭忠谈到，高等教育与基础教育都是教育中的重要组成部分。育才现有的发展成果与独特、先进的办学理念是离不开的。同时，他建议学院今后可通过与各地招生办或地方政府等互动合作方式来确保生源质量，使招生更加的规范化。
学院招生工作处处长王维芬对谭忠的建议表示感谢。会后，万州招生办及中学领导一行人还参观了我院金工实训室、学生食堂等地。
