5月15日，由辩论与口才协会（辩才协会）主办的“未来，希望”演讲比赛决赛在文新学院9404教室举行。文新学院副院长段茂升，院长助理刘佩伟以及各协会代表参加了活动。
比赛分为“个人风采视频展示”、“命题演讲”和“即兴演讲”三个环节。在“命题演讲”中，选手们从自己的成长经历谈到对“未来，希望”的期许。在即兴演讲环节,选手们更是须在1分30秒时间内完成演讲，努力表达自己的感情，说服评委与观众。经过激烈的角逐，3号选手李瑾获得第一名。
活动尾声，段茂升和刘佩伟为获奖同学们颁发了奖品。
